How do I earn points?
You earn one point for every two U.S. dollars ($2) you spend on eligible net Extra Credit Union Visa Gold or Platinum credit card purchases. You earn one point for every two U.S. dollars ($2) spent on eligible Extra Credit Union Debit MasterCard purchases. Points earned will be credited on a monthly basis. We will provide a monthly Extra Credit Points e-statement. If you provide an e-mail address when registering to view your account online, you will be sent a monthly e-statement notification by e-mail when your points are updated. The e-mail will also contain a link to the website where you can view your current point balance. E-mail addresses and statement preferences can be updated by visiting the website.

How do I view my account online? What information do I need?
Be sure to have your card handy. Then, click "Register" and complete the online form. You will be asked for some information including the last six digits of your card number. You can also choose to receive a monthly e-statement notification when your points are updated. Once your registration is complete, you will be able to log in. Why can't I access my account online?
If your account is less than 60 days old, you may have to wait a brief period to get into the system. If your account is more than 60 days old and you are still having difficulty, call the Extra Credit Points Service Center at (877) 35-POINTS.

How can I check my point total?
Your point summary is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can check your points on the My Account page or by calling the Extra Credit Points Service Center at (877) 35-POINTS.

How often are my points updated?
Points are credited to your account monthly, so it may take up to 45 days for points to be applied to your account. When registering, you can choose to receive a monthly e-statement notification when your points have been updated.

What is the minimum amount of points I can redeem?
Extra Credit Points can be redeemed for as little as 2,500 points for merchandise and travel. Downloadable rewards may be redeemed for as little as 750 points.

Is there a limit of points I can earn?
You can earn unlimited points in a year.

Do the points ever expire?
The points are good for three years from the end of the calendar year in which they are earned.

What is the best way to redeem my points?
Our website is the best way because your order is instantly received, and you have many more merchandise and redemption opportunities. Music and most of the gift certificates are only available online and cannot be ordered through the service center number.

Where can I see a catalog of available merchandise and how do I redeem points?
You can do all of your redemptions online. Select from hundreds of items available in the online catalog. Downloadable rewards can be received instantly. If you need assistance, you can call the Extra Credit Points Service Center at (877) 35-POINTS.

What if I do not have access to a computer to view my statement and redeem my points?
If you need assistance, you may contact the Extra Credit Points Service Center at (877) 35-POINTS.

How do I redeem points for travel?
Simply use our Travel Resource Center to apply your points to pay for all or part of your trip, or take advantage of one of our Travel Packages. If you need assistance, call our Service Center toll-free at (877) 35-POINTS 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

I don't have enough points for the travel package I want. Can I pay for the remainder?
The travel agent at the Extra Credit Points Service Center at (877) 35-POINTS will help you determine the best use of your points to reduce the cost of the trip you would like to take.

How long does it take to receive the merchandise once you redeem your points?
Please allow 24 weeks, but you will often receive the merchandise or gift cards sooner.

Who do I call for more information or if I forget my login or password?
Go to the Forgot Your Password page. If you need further assistance, submit a message through the Contact Us page, or call the Extra Credit Points Service Center at (877) 35-POINTS.

Can my spouse and I combine our points?
Yes, you can complete the Combine Account Request Form or call the Extra Credit Points Service Center at (877) 35-POINTS. Once your rewards accounts are combined, they can not be separated.

Is it necessary to have both a debit and credit card to be enrolled in the program?
No, you qualify for the program with a debit or credit card or both.

If I have a Classic Visa card do I earn points?
Only Gold and Platinum credit cards and our debit card are eligible for the program.
